Out for a walk in the Yorkshire Dales: not much sign of Spring in this part of the Pennines, the fields still have their winter drabness, trees are bare, and as yet there are no lambs to be seen. Everything is still in the March sunshine, and apart from the distant sound of traffic, all is quiet, except for.........
The snow has been melting on the hilltops, and everywhere water is tumbling down the fell sides, filling gullies,old and new. It's the sound of life.
So often our personal landscape can seem drab & grey, and long-awaited breakthroughs still seem far off. But the Lord is encouraging us to listen for the sound of the Holy Spirit on the move - the Spring of Life, Who is bubbling up around us.
